King K9 Academy is about to celebrate its 10 year anniversary!
We specialize in various training programs including boarding and training, private lessons, puppy training and behavior modification. Our 15-acre campus is unique, providing an unmatched opportunity to work dogs in a natural environment, loaded with the distractions most challenging to dogs!
However, our training isn't limited to this outdoor playground, we also provide field trips to locations such as Bath, Freeport, and stores where pets are allowed so your dog is prepared for all the adventures your family will take.
Our small working farm includes a training barn, confidence course, fenced and unfenced areas, sheep, ducks, chickens and plenty of natural fauna, providing the perfect environment for challenging off-leash obedience.
Our expertise lies in professional obedience training to enhancing the bond between dogs and their owners.

Service to Country
I owe tremendous gratitude to the U.S. Coast Guard for the training and opportunity to serve my country as a volunteer member. I served in an operational capacity on safety patrols after many months of boat crew training both in classroom and on the water. I also took part in educational outreach to schools and public training programs attaining the rank of Flotilla Staff Officer.
In 2008 I received a commendation for outstanding performance of duty for my participation in a life-saving rescue in severe weather.
