A very busy life, or lacking the time or patience to deal with your dog shouldn't prevent you from having a well mannered and enjoyable dog. If want your good dog to be a GREAT DOG, my board and train program is for you!
Puppy Primer
Age: 3-6 months
Behaviors / Cues: sit, down, kennel, place, recall, leave-it, potty on cue
Calming chant: Introduce a calming chant that can be used to calm your dog at stressful times, such as the vet.
Concepts: Heeling position, impulse control, stay, how to respond to leash pressure.
Communication language learned: Yes, Good, No, Nope, and/or clicker (if desired)
Behavior Modification: Minor mouthing, jumping, demand barking etc, introduction to the word/concept "No" if necessary.
Duration: 1 Week
Includes: 1 private lesson. Free email troubleshooting support until your puppy is 6 months old.
Additional Benefit: Any graduate of the Puppy Primer program is entitled to a $150 discount off training with the purchase of any adult obedience board and train program, or $200 off when paying by check and booking both programs at once.
Notes: This program is designed to introduce your dog to the concept of learn-2-earn, or NiLiF (nothing in life is free). Making learning and training fun and fulfilling, which in turn makes you the healthy center of your dog's life (focus and attention) while avoiding the pitfalls of dependency through structured independence. It also included personalized coaching to make sure you are raising your pup in the best way possible, according to its personality and breed.

Premier Obedience
Age: 6 mo +
Behaviors / Commands: Come (recall), Sit+stay, Down+stay, Heel, Place (in-home behavior management), Kennel on command, Threshold Manners
Concepts: At this stage in training we turn concepts into commands. "No" becomes a relevant marker word and your dog will understand what it means, how to avoid it, and what to do about it if he hears it.
Communication language learned: Yes, Good, No, (clicker if desired)
Behavior Modification: Yes*
Duration: 3~ Weeks, generally most dogs finish in 3 weeks, but occasionally a dog may need more time, I'll go longer if beneficial to obtain my standard of training, at no additional charge.

Notes: This program empowers your dog to make fruitful choices that align with what is ultimately best for him and your family, even in the presence of distractions and in the real world in which you live. It also includes personalized coaching.

Concepts: All puppy primer concepts, how to respond to the word "No"

Behavior Modification: Minor (residual behaviors from puppyhood: mouthing, jumping, etc)
Duration: 2 Weeks
Includes: 2 private lessons

Specialized Boarding and Training Programs
Customized programs are the best option for more advanced behaviors, from puppies to adults. More time developing habitual responses and practicing behaviors under professional guidance makes a big difference! For dogs where a higher level obedience is sought (off-leash heeling, focused heeling, complete verbal discrimination, silent commands (vibrate/tone through e-collar, remedial public access obedience for service dogs, etc) customized training of behaviors (directed retrieves, task work, scent imprinting, search patterning, tracking, etc) where possible. This program is completely customizable.
We can help jump start your public access training if you are training your own service dog. Service dog training is a significant investment in both time and money. We are not currently training service dogs for specific task work.
Who should consider this program?
Owners whose dogs are struggling with serious behavioral problems (I am not currently taking human aggression cases), or owners wanting customized trained behaviors, high level functional or competitive obedience foundations, public access for service, therapy dog, or emotional support on appropriate candidates.
