Real Training for Real Results
Personalized
I work with you and your dog in sessions lasting from 1-2 hours. Training goals, including the number of lessons needed are set forth in a training plan and cost for any program will be provided in advance.
Real World Application
Every dog needs to move past the training facility. When you and your dog are ready, we will go into the real world, with its inherent challenges. This is particularly important for reactive dogs.
E-collar Conditioning
Does your dog know many obedience commands but won't listen when off your property, off-leash, or out of the house? In our program you will be guided step-by-step to ensure your dog fully understands e-collar pressure using low-level conditioning.

My Training Methods
I am a highly skilled reward-based trainer. If you are looking for positive, R+, reward-based, motivational, play training, praise, etc., come see me! I use reward-based training in ALL MY PROGRAMS, by design!
Relationship is at the center of my training program. Wether I am working with your dog in a board and train or with you in private lessons, my focus is on creating an honest, fair relationship where you are the leader and your dog looks to you for guidance when uncertain.
I am experienced using negative reinforcement effectively, as this is often the only way to obtain true attention to command, or behavior change, for many dogs. The majority of the dogs that graduate from King K9 Academy have been trained using a combination of both (balanced training). Check out our social media accounts, at the bottom of the page to see videos of our graduates in training.
