Personal Training
Customized training to meet your specific needs. From basic obedience, reward-based training, e-collar training, behavior modification, reactivity, service dog training*, task work*, sport dog training, etc. Consulting, evaluation, and training for groups and individuals. I work with you and your dog in 1 on 1 sessions lasting from 1-2 hours. Training goals are set forth in a training plan and cost for the program will be provided in advance.
I am a highly skilled reward-based trainer. If you are looking for a "purely positive, R+, reward-based, motivational, play, etc" trainer, come see me! I use reward-based training in ALL MY PROGRAMS by design! I am also very experienced at using negative reinforcement, as this is sometimes the only way to obtain true obedience or behavior change for many dogs and for some types of behavior or distractions! Puppy Primer (age 3-7 months)
Investment: $379
Behaviors practiced: Heeling position, sit, down, kennel, place, recall
Concepts learned and practiced: Impulse control, how to respond to leash pressure
Conditioning Communication Marker Language: Yes, Good, No, Nope
Duration: 2 Lessons (2 weeks)
Lesson duration is from 1-2 hours
Includes: Training collar and free email troubleshooting support until your puppy is 6 months of age
This program teaches fundamental concepts and obedience behaviors as a game. This play training and feeding approach establishes behavior patterning, a solid work ethic, and clear communication. Additionally, we will prepare you and your dog to perform professional level socialization and desensitization protocols to new environments which is how we do it with working and service dogs. This foundation will build the best and most honest relationship with your dog.

Commands: Training and e-collar conditioning: Come (recall), Sit+stay, NO, Good, Down+stay, Heel, Place
Duration 5 Lessons (4 weeks)
Lesson duration is from 1-1.5 hours
Includes: Herm Sprenger training collar if necessary, includes some minor behavior modification (jumping up, demand barking, etc). In this program you will learn to train and e-collar condition your dog under 1-on-1 professional guidance during weekly lessons and will practice at home with your dog between lessons.
Commands: Training and e-collar conditioning: Come (recall), Sit+stay, NO, Good, Down+stay, Heel, Place
Duration 5 Lessons (4 weeks)
Lesson duration is from 1-1.5 hours

In this program you will learn to train and e-collar condition your dog under 1-on-1 professional guidance during weekly lessons and will practice at home with your dog between lessons.
Reactivity
Investment: $750
A behavioral assessment and evaluation is required for any serious reactivity issues. A successful completion of a Full Obedience Private Lesson training package is a prerequisite for reactivity behavior modification. Generally we can accomplish the work of teaching you and your dog in 3 lessons.

Behavior Modification
A behavioral assessment and evaluation is required for any serious behavioral issues. Once completed, a training proposal will be written up and presented to you for approval.

Specialized Training Programs
These customized programs are the best option for more advanced behaviors, from puppies to adults. More time developing habitual responses and practicing behaviors under professional guidance makes a big difference! For dogs where a higher level obedience is sought (off-leash heeling, focused heeling, complete verbal discrimination, silent commands (vibrate/tone through e-collar, remedial public access obedience for service dogs, etc) customized training of behaviors (directed retrieves, task work, scent imprinting, search patterning, tracking, etc) where possible. This program is completely customizable.
* We do not train personal pets for service dog work. If you have a professionally trained service dog that needs remedial training, a tune up, or additional task work added, we will be happy to set up a consultation to discuss your goals. Service dog training is a significant investment in both time and money. Typically, fully trained service dogs range from $18-$25k, depending on the amount of training required.
